 This month is a digression from the typical work you see from us.  We are going to talk about the most difficult thing you will ever do – parent.

 We at Northside Floor Care feel the best flooring material for a young family is carpet.  Many of you may already have carpet or are considering moving to a different flooring material.  Here is our reasoning why carpet is the best choice for a family with small children.

 Spills and stains

Carpet of today is made of advanced fabric and material that is extremely stain resistant.  This means when spills and accidents happen, and they will, carpet cleanup is quick and simple.  Couple this with proper carpet care from us at Northside Floor Care, and your carpets will last for many years of faithful service.

 Temperature

 Children cannot regulate body temperature like an adult.  Carpet is a great insulator in the morning for those walks to the toilet or the breakfast area.  There is something to be said about warm carpet in the early morning.  Perhaps not so much now, but certainly later on.

 Walking

 Children learning to walk are going to have falls and bumps.  The carpet subfloor provides a nice cushion for the inevitable falls all of us have when learning how to cruise and then walk.
